Triggers: Timer Ended Notification

Timer Ended Settings

  • Notify when timer ends: Enables notifications when timer ends.
Display Settings
  • Display Text: Enable this checkbox to display text in text overlays.
  • Text to Display: This is the text which will be displayed in the text overlay when the timer ends. You can use the token {C} if you would like the name of the character to appear in the text. If regular expressions are enabled, you can use group replacement tokens such as ${1} or ${name} to show matched portions of text.
Audio Settings
  • No Sound: Indicates no audio notification should be generated for this trigger.
  • Use Text to Speech: Indicates the voice assigned to the character should be used to convert text to speech for this trigger.
  • Text to Say: If Use Text to Speech is indicated, this is the text which will be spoken. You can use the token {C} if you would like the name of the character to be spoken. If regular expressions are enabled, you can use group replacement tokens such as ${1} or ${name} to show matched portions of text.
  • Interrupt Speech: By default, if two triggers with Text to Speech are matched at about the same time, the voice will speak one trigger followed by the other. Setting this flag will cause the first text to end abruptly so that this trigger's text can be spoken immediately.
  • Play Sound File: Indicates a pre-recorded sound file should be played for this trigger.
  • Sound File: If Play Sound File: is indicated, this property specifies the sound file that should be played when the trigger is matched.
  • Test: This is a test button to play the selected audio format so that you can hear what it will sound like. You can select any of your characters in the dropdown and hit the green Play button to hear what the trigger will sound like for that character.
