Disable timer graphic

Is there a way to not have some timers not show a timer bar? The majority of timers I want to have the bar, but there are some that I do not want to see the thing counting down I just want to know when the time is up (when i will then have it show text and say something).

If it is not possible, could it be considered for a future feature?

Yes there is.

You need a few things to pull this off, a new timer overlay and and new category and special triggers


First the new Timer Overlay
Go to Overlays Tab
Hit Add in the timer overlay ribbon bar
That will place a new overlay on your window, move it where you want it
UNCHECK Show Timer Bar and make your personal preferences to the backgrounds
Hit save
Now Go to Categories Tab
Hit Add in the actions ribbon bar
Name your new category ( i picked timer with no bar )
In the timers sections select the name of your new overlay instead of default

Now were going to make your trigger Send the data to the overlay 1 instead of the normal default.

Go to the Home tab
Use the expand arrows to find the trigger you dont want to see the timer bar for.
Right click it and hit edit
Check the timers category to the one you made ( i named mine timer with no bar )
Under the timer ended
Check notify when timer ends
Check Display Text and add what you want it to do
Check use text to speech and type what you want to hear.
Hit SAVE




Head on in game and see if it works as you wanted.
