For me Gina seems to break every time it asks me to update.
I found you can roll back your version if your update failed.
In windows 10,
Click window icon in the bottom left.
Click settings
Click systems
Click apps and features
Click show apps on all drives
Scroll down till you see Gina by Gimasoft and click it
Click uninstall
Click uninstall again
Click Restore the application to its previous state.
Click OK.
Your Gina should now be working and advising you that there is an update again.
I was able to update properly the second try.
