odd problems

Post by seering » Sun Aug 09, 2015 8:24 pm

Curious with the last patch i seem to have developed an odd issue where .. triggers will work and then not work.
Triggers that are always the same .. say a spell cast...

Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not . .not sure why yet and having a hard time finding out. Only started noticing it with the last updates ..
Its not logging interval and its not always the same ones ..
Almost like its reached a its buffer limit and starts skipping some to catch up.

anyone else having issues or maybe some good ideas on how to go about troubleshooting it?

I found my way here to this site because my GINA has also started acting up the past couple of weeks.

I am starting to experience serious delay. When we do Vitio now, Gina doesn't even fire off for me until the event is over.

Anyone able to link a thread that may already exist to address performance issues?

Are you still having issues using the most current version (1.0.22.3)?

i'm having several folks with the same exact issue.
myself i had trouble with viteo last expansion to the point that it was unusable for me in terms of reliability, and i was never able to solve it, but when i got a new computer it went away.

we have a few folks having problems with the demi life raids this expansion.

i think i may have perhaps started to figure out the source of some people's lag with gina.

Is it intentional that the "Fast Check" option does not follow through with the trigger broadcast?

For example i've spent hours optimizing triggers and getting all of my performance data very low, but others in the guild have triggers ranking in the hundreds.
We noticed tonight, by comparing and contrasting, that the fast check doesnt follow.

For example:

({s} begins to cast a spell. <)Auspice of the Hunter
I have Fast Check checkmarked.

I sent it to JimBob.
JimBob receives the trigger as I have it, but fast check is NOT checkmarked, and therefore, he's not getting the optimization i've spent my time on.

Is that intentional?
Is it possible to have that come through?

That is not intentional; I will take a look at it tonight.

This should be corrected now in BETA version 1.0.24.0. Please verify that it is working as intended, and then I will promote it to the release version. Thanks for the bug report.

confirmed that its now passing through along withthe trigger!
THANK YOU!! :) Now to see if the optimization for fast checks with smart digests helps the laggy factor for some folks

Adetia, did pushing the triggers again using the new version correct the lag issues your folks were seeing?
