Config failing to load, causing crash

If for some reason the everquest logs folder is inaccessible, gina will fail to load its config saying its corrupt, try to load the last known good, not properly load that, have a spam of 4 of the boxes up for positioning, and then be impossible to close without killing the process. Also can't remove the windows it loads, or anything without that killing of the process.
Background on why this specifically sometimes happens to me, is I keep my log files on a ram disk, and once in a while on a reboot, the ramdisk doesn't load properly, so the logs folder is a reference to a non-existant mount in windows.
