If you have Avast set to silent game mode it will not give you pop up warnings i found out it was them by switching to laptop and attempting to install gina on it and got the big red pop up. not sure why your uninstall did not work as it did for my laptop (did you do a complete restart after uninstall?)

I did a re-install (run as admin) and GINA loaded fine.. I'm always in silent/gaming mode so that wasn't it for me.

Might still have an issue when i close out and try to re-open but at least it's up for now.

I meant that silent game mode does not inform you that avast has stopped GINA! so thats why you did not know for sure it was avast.

Did you uninstall avast? and do a reboot after and try to install GINA?
