Recently a guildie of mine updated to Windows 10.

When they go to use Ventrilo their voice sounds like a chipmunk. She turns off Gina and it goes back to normal.

So for folks having the same issue try that and maybe we can all come up with a work around for that issue between Ventrilo and Gina.

I am going to take a stab and guess that the ventrilo server your using is using the same codec that Gina is using.

Gina has a built in audio voice speed switch that can speed up the playback of the voices in Gina

IF your guildie has the Slider set to high i am fairly sure it is affecting the playback of the voice on ventrilo.

My ventrilo server is not running the same codec as Gina so I am unable to test this theory.

If i wanted to see if that was causing it i would open GINA
click my green character name.
Hit edit in the character ribbon bar
Move the Voice speed slider to middle and hit save

Jump to ventrilo and test the results.

Hopefully this will fix the chipmunks.
