a way to install alternate voices?`

Is there a way to change the voice to something other than the annoying microsoft voice? I know my android tablet has voice sets.. not sure if any of those might work? If there are alternatives any help on finding and installing them?

You need to download voices that are compatible with your OS, you can find some free ones here http://www.zero2000.com/free-text-to-sp ... oices.html. Once installed, they should be accessible.

Windows 8.x also has some pre-installed voices. In my case (German Win 8.1) it's "Microsoft Zira Desktop - English (United States)" and "Microsoft Hedda Desktop - German".

The Zira one is VERY realistic for english texts, the voice even has some accent ...
