Re: sharing with others

I think this is at my end. I had a user that I remoted to, after waiting for several minutes, we killed gina. No log file was created. So I exported a package file, and emailed it to the person. When they tried to import it, said there was an error with the file. Is it possible, that something has g...

sharing with others

So, I had a few ppl start using GINA this week. I would try to quickshare them my VoA triggers, and it would show 6859/6859 downloaded, and just freeze for them. I posted on another thread about my laptop issues. Once I got those sorted, I was able to quickshare my entire VoA trigger set to the lapt...

Cacaphony of Oratory package borked?

I think the Cacaphony of Oratory package is broken. Everytime I try to retrieve it on any computer, freezes at 1836/1836, and never progresses.

nm, figured it out. main computer was excluded from squid proxy. I added laptop to exception list, and it started working.

Not sure why squid is breaking it.

unable to connect to sharing service

Laptop running windows 7 x64. Gina starts, checks for update. I try to connect to the library, and get a error. Unable to connect to sharing service.

Same network as main machine, that works fine. Only using windows firewall on laptop, same issue if firewall disabled.

Re: Sharing connections

I can replicate this, if my network is busy. For example tonight, downloading 1GB of patches for a toon on a laptop I haven't played in about a year. Same laptop downloading windows updates. My son playing TF2 with voice chat on a different computer My other son playing minecraft My daughter watchin...

sound issue

I was helping a user tonight, set up GINA. We were unable to get sound out of GINA, even though I could see the levels moving in the mixer. I looked at the sound options, and turns out the user had 7.1 surround sound. I changed it to stereo, and then sound started working. I guess this is a bug? He ...

GINA going well

Haven't been any topics for quite a while. I guess that is a good thing. Most people I have recommended GINA to, love it.

I get the odd complaint about not being able to install it. Usually windows xp people that don't have the .net framework installed.
