Feature Request: "Backup Now" button
Hi Gima, Firstly thanks for this awesome app! So what I am suggesting is a button in the Log Maintenence section that would force a backup of the currently selected character(s) log file. Or maybe a special trigger text similar to the gina stop one that will do the same. The reason for me asking is ...

Re: Testing for two or more strings + spell check
I think I found out how to test for 2 or more strings in a single trigger from an example I found elsewhere. Looks like you simply need to escape every space, e.g. (this\sis\sstring\s1|this\sis\sanother\sstring) The actual one I found was for the Arc Mentis Vitio, one off raid and is the one to dete...

Re: Testing for two or more strings + spell check
So my guess is that you have something missing from your Search string for the spell cast. Edit: Just a quick glance at your search string... You're missing the a between cast and spell So your search string would be An NPC begins to cast a spell. <nasty spell> Sorry I can't help you with the first...

Testing for two or more strings + spell check
So 2 questions that may be due to me not understanding regex, but I just can't seem to get either of the 2 below to work as expected: 1) How do I set a trigger to fire on "this is string1" or "this is another string"? I coded a few things but I thought the regex would be something like: (this is str...

Re: Can't Install GINA
Fixed it! It was indeed things left around. Some folders in a C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 ... some random folder name. (Not sure why GINA has to work this way. Not easy to find even the exe file for a novice, but I assume its something to do with the way .net apps work). Once I cleared th...

Re: Can't Install GINA
Still no luck. I have now uninstalled Avast altogether - and used the avast cleanup utility to hopefully make sure. If I use Firefox on the download link, I get a file downloaded called setup.exe. When I run this I still get "Cannot Start Application" message box, with a log. When I have ran this pr...

Re: Can't Install GINA
Thanks for the prompt reply. You are correct on point 1. I am using Avast, and I suspect therein lies the issue. I'll read through the thread you linked. As I disabled both Avast and Comodo firewall I didn't think it was Avast causing the issue. Looks like I need a failsafe exclusion in Avast to sto...

Can't Install GINA
GINA has been running fine for a few weeks. Then a couple of days ago I came to run it and it would not start. After several attempts I uninstalled the program (I always keep backups of the config files when I make changes). Yesterday I re-installed the program, replaced the default config files wit...
