I did a re-install (run as admin) and GINA loaded fine.. I'm always in silent/gaming mode so that wasn't it for me. Might still have an issue when i close out and try to re-open but at least it's up for now. I meant that silent game mode does not inform you that avast has stopped GINA! so thats why...

Me neither & uninstalling Avast didn't solve the issue so I went ahead and re-installed it (wasn't getting any indication that Avast was causing it just trying different things out) If you have Avast set to silent game mode it will not give you pop up warnings i found out it was them by switching t...

It is avast causing the issue for sure, i posted in my other thread how i found out. They should get it straighten out they seem to always do on things like this but it could take days or even weeks.trilo wrote:I can't do a rollback.

It was Avast as i fired up my laptop, went to install GINA and got the avast pop up saying suspicious file, anyhow completely uninstalled avast on laptop and it downloaded GINA fine and logged laptop into eq and it works, no clue whats up with avast but this is around the 10th time that it has froze...

I did a rollback to the 22nd, then got gina to work and shut down the check for updates option in it, so far so good its working will see. I also Uninstalled Avast too, for the safe side

Looks like same problem i am having, run avast also. I did do a roll back and get GINA to start but just one time when i shut it down it would no longer work, i also have now disabled avast
